As a result of Airbus Group board decision, Airbus is getting ready for launching A330-800neo and A330-900neo, the two new member of wide body member, equipped with new generation Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, aerodynamic improvements and new cabin features.
As a result of reducing fuel consumption at the rate of 14 percent per seat, A330neo having high reliability becomes the most cost-effective medium range wide body aircraft in the market. In addition, A330neo users will benefit from range increase of 400 sea mile and all common operational advantages of Airbus family as well as more fuel saving. A330neo deliveries will being in the last quarter of 2017.
With its new engines, we will keep the A330 flying high for many more years. The development costs of A330neo will be incurred from 2015 to 2017 with an impact of around 70 points on Airbus Group’s 2015 return on sales target. Once in service, A330neo will continue to significantly contribute to our group’s earnings”.

In addition to the new Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engine, A330neo will offer incremental innovations, including aerodynamic improvements such as the aileron designed by inspiring from A350 XWB, increasing wing span and new engine pylons. Pilots will benefit from latest generation cockpit systems and A330 cabin, already comfortable, will be improved to offer up to 10 additional 18 inch wide seats.
Passengers will win too. They will have a chance to have a 21st century cabin experience with features such as fourth generation In Flight Entertainment (3D films), functional lighting and full communication.
